New Velocit-T Tip Assembly Introduced

Design provides improved shut off over other 3 piece free flow design valves.
Hayward, WI. The new Veloci-T shut off valve features a deep smooth flow path on the tip to allow for “free flow” of material off the screw. The design is less restrictive than 4 piece or ball check designs. The design allows for processing a vide variety of materials providing flexilility. It is ideal for shear sensitive materials such as PC or ABS. The design eliminates “dead spots” minimizing material degradation. The valve provides a large front ring target area and a specially engineered rear seat to assure positive shut off of low viscosity and highly filled resins-minimizing scrap. The use of premium HIP tool steel allows the valve to withstand high temperatures beyond that of CPM 9V giving it a longer operating life. Designer Ken Lundberg said “We have seen many different valve designs over the years. We took what we believed were the best features and developed the Veloci-T shut off valve.”
